We are a Team

Migrate 2 Elevate, Inc. (M2E) is a non-profit organization based in South Florida that exists to support Jamaican immigrants with financial education and life skills so they are more likely to succeed in their new place of residence.

Migrate 2 Elevate Inc. will be a global support ecosystem for Jamaican immigrants (and those from other Caribbean countries) settling in various parts of the world. Through virtual and in person communication platforms, we will facilitate a learning environment for the exchange of practical skills and knowledge that can equip our members to becoming financially stable for themselves, and in turn, be able to comfortably support their families and communities.

Migrate 2 Elevate Inc. seeks to equip immigrants with knowledge, skills, resources, and access in order for them to navigate their new environment which will in turn increase their chances of success. We will use a number of methods including but not limited to, virtual and live discussion forums, presentations, workshops, webinars, and special events. These methods are geared towards delivering practical skills and knowledge so that the immigrants will be confident and competent to operate within the system of their new environment. The core of our mission is to fully equip an immigrant, financially, mentally, and socially so that they are self-sufficient, thriving and good citizens. By doing this, it is expected that a ripple effect will occur and the immigrants will be better able to support their families and communities both locally and back home. 

Self-loveWe believe it is critical to practice self-love. Self-love ensures that you look after yourself by being kind and attentive to yourself. It involves making sure that you maintain your own well-being as a high priority, even as you serve your family, friends, and community. After all, if you are not well and able then you cannot adequately serve the ones you love.
Paying it ForwardWe believe that we are here due to the labor of others before us, who have either directly or indirectly provided a launching pad for our lives. By acknowledging this fact, we in turn, intentionally pay it forward for those who are traveling behind us.
Continuous Improvement We believe that no man or system is perfect. There is and will always be, room for continuous improvement. We engage in continuous improvement by way of open dialogue, constructive criticism, testing & assessment, taking action and life-long learning. We believe that the moment we stop learning, is the moment we stop living. We encourage all to become students of life who are actively engaging in life-long learning.
